Judi’s Nursery, Inc. has been serving Kew Garden Hills for the past 45 years.  Judi’s Nursery provides a warm, inviting, well designed learning environment that fosters children’s natural curiosity, initiative, engagement, persistence and creativity. Judi’s Nursery is licensed by the Department of Health and our teachers are educated and certified in Early Childhood Education. School leaders collaborate with teaching teams weekly to provide feedback on their observations, evaluate student progress, & plan accordingly.  Our center-based classrooms are inviting and relevant to children with a print rich environment.  Children are free to choose in which center they would like to play/work, where the materials in each center are clearly organized with labels having both words and pictures, facilitating independence and responsibility in the children as well as providing early pre-literacy skills. Open-ended materials available throughout the classroom provide many learning experiences for children of varying ability levels.  Learning in children is multi-dimensional; all aspects of learning are seen in many areas of the classroom and are not limited to a specific center, e.g. math is not limited to the block area and literacy is not limited to the writing center and library.
